Mel trained as a biochemist but then joined Unilever to study to become a food product developer. Two decades on, Mel holds a food and management MSc, an MBA and a European food law qualification. Wide and extensive experience of the development process means gives her a sound base for creative product development.
After completing a degree in Product Design, a career as a lighting designer and a career break, Jo turned her love of baking into a business. After relocating from London, Jo joined the Froghop team. She brings experience of the design process, baking skills and her enjoyment of being in the kitchen to the Froghop team.
Annabel has been with the team since 2016 and has a passion for street food as well as wholesome, organic produce. She brings a love of original flavours to the Froghop team and is always trying out new recipes on friends and family. Annabel is focused on savoury products and is our culinary expert.
Garry has over 40 years food industry experience, developing and implementing new products and quality improvements in everything from poultry, fish and vegetables, to pizza, cakes and desserts. His focus is scaling-up food development and diagnosing technical issues in manufacturing. He works with Froghop clients on prototypes as well as advising on manufacturing routes.
Kate began her career as an analytical chemist, taking roles in the petrochemical and fuel industries. However, her love of cookery and a relocation led to a career change after completing her Cordon Bleu diploma. She then worked as a chef and taught at the Tante Marie cookery school before joining Froghop in 2019.
