Mel trained as a biochemist but then joined Unilever to study to become a food product developer. Two decades on, Mel holds a food and management MSc, an MBA and a European food law qualification. Wide and extensive experience of the development process means gives her a sound base for creative product development.
After completing a degree in Product Design, a career as a lighting designer and a career break, Jo turned her love of baking into a business. After relocating from London, Jo joined the Froghop team. Her role is to work with food and drink businesses to identify the services and support that will progress their product development.
Annabel has been with the team since 2016 and has a passion for street food as well as wholesome, organic produce. She brings a love of original flavours to the Froghop team and is always trying out new recipes on friends and family. Annabel is focused on savoury products and is our culinary expert.
Garry has over 40 years food industry experience, developing and implementing new products and quality improvements in everything from poultry, fish and vegetables, to pizza, cakes and desserts. His focus is scaling-up food development and diagnosing technical issues in manufacturing. He works with Froghop clients on prototypes as well as advising on manufacturing routes.
After completing a Nutrition degree at St Marys University, Max worked in market research in the food and pharmaceutical sectors. After working as a Sensory Analyst, he joined Froghop to apply his experience to a more hands-on role and to spend more time in the development kitchen.
Simon trained as a chef in London and worked in high-end restaurants and contract catering for eight years. He then studied food science at London Southbank University in order to move into product development. He joined Froghop after working with consumer insight and global food trends to ideate, prototype and test new concepts for the global airline market. He has extensive experience taking concepts from idea to launch, working with stakeholders and manufacturing partners.
